Hey, and sorry for the slow reply. I’d be happy to share anything I know about GIMP, but may I suggest Paint.NET instead? It’s an absolutely great, very user-friendly (much more so than GIMP) utility which does an amazing number of things, and there are a large number of very useful plug-ins and tutorials. It’s based on the GNU license, and there’s a pretty big fanbase. The learning curve is also much more gentle than GIMP, and it’s a lot more intuitive. For me it’s actually fun, whereas I find GIMP to be often like work, and the results are pretty impressive, I think. One download link is here: [download.cnet.com]
I put the CNET link so you could read their review, and also so that you would have a link that was easily recognisable as legit. I’m not gonna lie, I love Paint.NET, and I’d be happy to spend as much time as you’d like sharing what I know. The attached pic is one I did in about 20 minutes, splicing Sauron’s Eye onto the Crystal Cathedral back when Robert Schuller was getting his comeuppance. I’ve done a bunch of stuff for Fark ‘shop contests, too, and a few samples are here:

Anyways, enough, but I’ll finish with probably my all-time favourite: [i373.photobucket.com]
I would dearly love to learn about either Wordpress or SEO, and any advice on building a website would be deeply appreciated, as that’s something I’m just getting into. I have a very open schedule, not having a master to report to every day, so it should be easy to arrange some time at your convenience. In the meantime, I hope everything is going well for you, and until next time, take good care. :-)
