Newtown wakes and funerals http://pastebin.com/PiWv1rf2

December 20th, 2012

The following contains information for the remaining #Newtown wakes and funerals as well as a note about the WBC.

A widely circulated email purportedly between Shirley Phelps-Roper & Rachel Hockenbarger that refers to protesting on Friday 12/21 is likely referring to a wake for two slain Police Officers in Topeka, Kansas. Thus, “TPD” more than likely references ‘Topeka’ in Kansas and not Torrington or Trumbull. However, those in CT should stay alert.

PLEASE try and get a photo (or license plate number) of any vehicle or person you believe is of WestboroBaptistChurch
BEFORE you tweet. We have had far too many false reports.

**** Please understand that there is yet to be a credible verifiable report of the WBC having stepped a foot in CT, let alone be in Newtown. ****

More than likely the WBC has - once again - simply used the misfortune and misery of others to increase their visibility via their twisted brand of ‘Godrilla Marketing’.

Finally, many people who have covered the Wesboro Baptist Church assert that they don’t believe a word of what they say; That the WBC is essentially an elaborate scam created by Fred Phelps Sr to generate income via an exploitation of the law; Inciting people to act out against them or violate their right to assemble that allows the WBC to file Civil Lawsuits for monetary damages. This seems more and more likely to be true - particularly because it becomes more obvious how calculated and disciplined the WBC is with their operations.

No matter what happens in the next few days of the NewtownNightmare, if you come across the WBC remain nonviolent and respect the PD’s protest instructions.
